  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             a soil survey in Fillmore county. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION FOR FILLMORE COUNTY SOIL SURVEY 
  1.6   UPDATE.] 
  1.7      $65,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the board 
  1.8   of water and soil resources to provide half of the nonfederal 
  1.9   share for the second phase of a three-phase project to update 
  1.10  the Fillmore county soil survey into a digitized and manuscript 
  1.11  format.  This appropriation is available until June 30, 1999.
