A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; authorizing the private
sale of consolidated conservation land in Beltrami
County.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin PRIVATE SALE OF CONSOLIDATED CONSERVATION
LAND; BELTRAMI COUNTY.

new text begin (a) Notwithstanding the classification and public sale
provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapters 84A and 282, or other
law to the contrary, the commissioner of natural resources may
sell the consolidated conservation land described in paragraph
(c) under the remaining provisions of Minnesota Statutes,
chapters 84A and 282.

new text begin (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the
attorney general. The consideration for the conveyance must be
for no less than the appraised value of the land and timber and
any survey costs. Proceeds shall be disposed of according to
Minnesota Statutes, chapter 84A.

new text begin (c) The land to be sold is in Beltrami County and is
described as:

new text begin (1) the E 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of Section 23, T155N, R36W;
new text end

new text begin (2) the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Section 23, T155N, R36W;
new text end

new text begin (3) the E 1/2 of the SW 1/4 and the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of
Section 22, T155N, R36W; and

new text begin (4) the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4
of Section 27, T155N, R36W.
