A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; modifying terminology
for certain angling licenses; amending Minnesota
Statutes 2004, section 97A.441, subdivision 4.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 97A.441,
subdivision 4, is amended to read:


Subd. 4.

Angling; mentally deleted text begin retarded deleted text end new text begin handicapped
new text end residents.

A person authorized to issue licenses must issue,
without a fee, a permanent license to take fish by angling to a
resident at least 16 years old that is mentally deleted text begin retarded
deleted text end new text begin handicapped new text end upon being furnished satisfactory evidence of the
disability.
