A bill for an act
 relating to state employees; providing additional sick leave for state employees
who are veterans with service-related disabilities; proposing coding for new law
in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 43A.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

SERVICE-RELATED DISABILITIES.

new text begin A state employee who is a veteran as defined in section 197.447 with a
service-related disability must be credited with up to 40 hours of sick leave each fiscal
year to receive treatment for the disability.
