  1.3             diploma warranty; repealing Minnesota Statutes 1998,

  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [REPEALER.] 
  1.7      Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 135A.081, is repealed. 
  1.8      Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.9      Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.  
  1.10  If the effective date of section 1 is after May 1, 1999, section 
  1.11  1 shall apply retroactively to May 1, 1999, to accommodate the 
  1.12  repeal of section 1.
