  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to economic development; providing funding to 
  1.3             Becker county for a tourism project; appropriating 
  1.4             money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of trade and economic development for a grant to 
  1.9   Becker county for the purposes of upgrading an existing tourism 
  1.10  facility to extend its usage to multi-weekends in order to 
  1.11  provide new jobs, increase tourism, and create economic 
  1.12  development.  The grant may be used to carry out a development 
  1.13  plan to upgrade existing sewer and water systems, a production 
  1.14  facility, and campground lodging.
