  1.2             relating to fees; repealing the state public water 
  1.3             service connection fee; repealing Minnesota Statutes 
  1.4             1998, section 144.3831. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [REPEALER; WATER SERVICE CONNECTION FEE.] 
  1.7      Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 144.3831, is repealed. 
  1.8      Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.9      Section 1 is effective July 1, 2001.
