  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to economic development; providing for a 
  1.3             planning grant to the city of Lake Benton for a 
  1.4             visitor center and railroad depot; appropriating money.
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $100,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of economic development for a grant to the city of 
  1.9   Lake Benton for planning costs associated with a new visitor 
  1.10  center and railroad depot building.  This is a onetime 
  1.11  appropriation and is not added to the agency's base.
