A bill for an act
relating to human services; prohibiting commissioner of human services from
diverting Title 3 funding away from senior nutrition programs; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 256.9752, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 256.9752, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

Client contributions must be used to supplement, not
supplant, federal Title 3 funds under the Older Americans Act of 1965, as amended, and
congregate dining and home delivery reimbursement rates.
