  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to health; establishing an advisory task 
  1.3             force to study residential hospice facility licensure 
  1.4             requirements; appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [RESIDENTIAL HOSPICE ADVISORY TASK FORCE.] 
  1.7      The commissioner of health shall convene an advisory task 
  1.8   force to study issues related to the building codes and safety 
  1.9   standards that residential hospice facilities must meet for 
  1.10  licensure and to make recommendations on changes to these 
  1.11  standards.  Task force membership shall include representatives 
  1.12  of residential hospices, pediatric residential hospices, the 
  1.13  Minnesota hospice organization, the Minnesota department of 
  1.14  health, and other interested parties.  The task force is 
  1.15  governed by Minnesota Statutes, section 15.059, subdivision 6.  
  1.16  The task force shall submit recommendations and any draft 
  1.17  legislation to the legislature by January 15, 1999.  
  1.18     Sec. 2.  [APPROPRIATION.]

  1.20  general fund to the commissioner of health to administer section
