  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to environment; appropriating money to Benton 
  1.3             county for landfill cleanup costs. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [BENTON COUNTY; LANDFILL CLEANUP COSTS.] 
  1.6      $1,475,000 is appropriated to the commissiomner of 
  1.7   pollution control for a grant to the county of Benton to be used 
  1.8   to pay and redeem or defease $1,475,000 principal amount of 
  1.9   bonds issued by the county to finance landfill closure and 
  1.10  construction of remedial operations.
