  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; appropriating money for 
  1.3             downsizing, relocation, and access needs for 
  1.4             intermediate care facilities for persons with mental 
  1.5             retardation. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $1,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of human services for fiscal year 2003 for the 
  1.10  costs related to approved applications under Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.11  section 252.282, subdivision 4, for downsizing, relocation, or 
  1.12  access needs for intermediate care facilities for persons with 
  1.13  mental retardation.  This appropriation shall become part of the 
  1.14  base level funding for the 2004-2005 biennium.
