  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to crime; appropriating money to the 
  1.3             commissioner of public safety for additional 
  1.4             helicopter flight time for the Minnesota state patrol. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; PUBLIC SAFETY.] 
  1.7      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of public safety for additional helicopter flight 
  1.9   time for the Minnesota state patrol to enhance law enforcement 
  1.10  efforts through airborne assistance.  This appropriation is for 
  1.11  additional flight time to ensure airborne support seven nights a 
  1.12  week.  This appropriation is available until June 30, 1999.
