relating to state government; prohibiting former legislators from lobbying the
legislature for one year after leaving legislative office; proposing coding for new
law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 10A.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

An individual may not attempt to influence legislative action as a lobbyist for one
year after leaving office as a member of the legislature.
