  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to health; requiring the Department of Health 
  1.3             to draft legislation regulating tattoo artists. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO DRAFT LEGISLATION.] 
  1.6      The Department of Health shall draft legislation for 
  1.7   introduction in the 2005 session of the legislature that 
  1.8   licenses or otherwise regulates tattoo artists and salons.  In 
  1.9   drafting the legislation the department shall consult with 
  1.10  tattoo artists and other interested parties.
