A bill for an act
 relating to natural resources; providing for the establishment of the water level
on Side Lake in St. Louis County.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SIDE LAKE LEVEL ESTABLISHMENT.

new text begin Upon application under Minnesota Statutes, section 103G.401, by a majority of the
riparian owners on Side Lake in St. Louis County, the commissioner of natural resources
shall establish the ordinary high water level for the lake at the level requested in the
application. The commissioner shall make adjustments to the dam on Side Lake that will
achieve the established ordinary high water level.
