  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money to 
  1.3             maintain and update the Minnesota land use map. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [MINNESOTA LAND USE MAP; APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $370,000 in fiscal year 2000 and $370,000 in fiscal year 
  1.7   2001 is appropriated from the general fund to the director of 
  1.8   the office of strategic and long-range planning, in cooperation 
  1.9   with the board of water and soil resources, for an agreement 
  1.10  with the University of Minnesota to continually update the land 
  1.11  use map for Minnesota.  The University of Minnesota must 
  1.12  coordinate the project with the association of Minnesota 
  1.13  counties, the state university system, the Science Museum of 
  1.14  Minnesota, and other appropriate state agencies.
