  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to telecommunications; requiring immediate 
  1.3             credit for calls made to directory assistance when 
  1.4             incorrect information is given; proposing coding for 
  1.5             new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 237.  
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [237.664] [DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE; IMMEDIATE 
  1.8   CREDIT FOR INCORRECT INFORMATION.] 
  1.9      The commission shall, by rule or order, require a provider 
  1.10  of directory assistance services to Minnesota customers to 
  1.11  provide an immediate credit to a customer for charges imposed 
  1.12  for those services when the provider furnishes incorrect 
  1.13  information to the customer.
