A bill for an act
relating to economic development; providing a grant for utility upgrades
and extension for bioscience research park and integrated medicine facility;
appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $6,000,000 in fiscal year 2008 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the Pine Island
Economic Development Authority to upgrade and extend utilities to serve Elk Run
Bioscience Research Park and The Falls - Healthy Living By Nature, an integrated
medicine facility. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until expended.
