  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; requiring inclusion in statewide 
  1.3             transportation plan and state transportation 
  1.4             improvement program of improvements to I-94 and trunk 
  1.5             highway 55. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION.] 
  1.8      The commissioner of transportation shall include in the 
  1.9   next revision of the statewide transportation plan and the state 
  1.10  transportation improvement program, the following highway 
  1.11  improvement projects:  
  1.12     (1) construction of one additional lane on each roadway of 
  1.13  interstate highway marked I-94 between its intersection with 
  1.14  county highway No. 152 in Brooklyn Center and its intersection 
  1.15  with interstate highway marked I-494 in Maple Grove; and 
  1.16     (2) reconstruction of trunk highway marked No. 55 as a 
  1.17  four-lane divided highway between its intersection with county 
  1.18  road No. 116 in the city of Medina and its intersection with the 
  1.19  city limits of Buffalo.
