  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; establishing a center for 
  1.3             agricultural studies at Southwest State University; 
  1.4             appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [CENTER FOR AGRICULTURAL STUDIES; 
  1.7   APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $....... is appropriated in fiscal year 1998 from the 
  1.9   general fund to the board of trustees of the Minnesota state 
  1.10  colleges and universities for the establishment and operation of 
  1.11  a center for agricultural studies at Southwest State 
  1.12  University.  The center for agricultural studies shall 
  1.13  coordinate and administer all agriculture instruction programs 
  1.14  under the authority of the board of trustees.  This 
  1.15  appropriation is available until June 30, 1999.
