 relating to economic development; appropriating money for summer youth
employment.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $650,000 in fiscal year 2010 and $650,000 in fiscal year 2011 are appropriated from
the workforce development fund to the commissioner of employment and economic
development for grants to fund the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board's learn to earn
summer youth employment program in Minneapolis established under Laws 1995, chapter
224, sections 5 and 39. This appropriation is available in either year of the biennium and
is available until spent.
