A bill for an act
relating to human services; providing a rate increase for a day training and
habilitation provider in St. Louis County; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. PROVIDER RATE INCREASE.

(a) Effective July 1, 2009, a day training and habilitation provider in St. Louis
County providing services for up to 150 individuals shall have a reimbursement rate
that equals the statewide median per diem.

(b) The commissioner of human services shall adjust the home and community-based
waiver allocation for St. Louis County and other affected counties as necessary to
implement this increase.

Sec. 2. APPROPRIATION.

$....... is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of human services
for the biennium beginning July 1, 2009, for the purposes of section 1.
