  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Mille Lacs county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; MILLE LACS 
  1.7   COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.9   282.018, subdivision 1, Mille Lacs county may sell the 
  1.10  tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in 
  1.11  paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota 
  1.12  Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.13     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.14  attorney general. 
  1.15     (c) The land to be conveyed is located in Mille Lacs 
  1.16  county, consists of about .29 acres, and is described as: 
  1.17     Government Lot No. 2, Section 2, Township 42 North, Range 
  1.18  27 West. 
  1.19     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  1.20  management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  1.21  returned to private ownership.
