Authorizing and providing for a presidential primary as determined by each major
political party; permitting each party to determine the date of precinct
caucuses in nonresidential election years; requiring precinct caucuses to be
held on the first date another state in the region conducts a caucus or primary
in a presidential election year; specifying candidate ballot provisions;
providing for conduct of primary; specifying auditor furnished information by
the secretary of state, prescribing ballot preparation procedures; providing for
the apportionment of delegates to national convention, providing for the
choosing of delegates and delegate voting; providing for the use of voting
machines; requiring the secretary of state to adopt certain rules; providing for
the reimbursement of election expenses
