E Requiring the commissioner of public safety to adopt rules requiring
instruction relating to organ and tissue donations and designations on drivers
licenses and identification cards for persons enrolled in driver education
programs offered at public or private and commercial driver training schools and
to include in each edition of the drivers manual information on the shortage of
organs and tissues for transplant, basic facts relating to donation, use of the
drivers license as an indication of donation intent and the importance of
informing family members of the decision to donate (ra, ja)
