E Modifying certain school bus safety requirements; eliminating the authority of
school boards to designate school bus driver day; eliminating the specific
requirement for school districts to annually amend bus safety policies;
requiring the motor vehicle registrar to collect an additional fee for
processing drivers licenses with a school bus endorsement; authorizing the
driving of a school bus without an endorsement for a certain limited period of
time under certain conditions; imposing certain responsibility for endorsement
status on the commissioner of public safety, the applicant and the employer of
the driver; requiring the commissioner of public safety to accept physical
examinations for school bus drivers conducted by medical examiners as authorized
by certain federal regulations; requiring employers to keep school bus driver
assessments available for inspection by representatives of the commissioner;
modifying certain annual evaluation requirements (mk, ja)
