waiver from the no child left behind act from the federal department +of
education by a certain date, specifying certain waiver request +requirements;
requiring the commissioner to notify the legislature by a certain +date of the
extent of success in obtaining the waiver and to modify the +consolidated state
plan and other agreements for implementing the act affected by the +waiver;
requiring the commissioner to report to the legislature by a certain +date on
developing certain measures to more effectively implement the act; +specifying
certain state initiatives to advance state and federal education +goals,
requiring the commissioner to recommend to the legislature by a +certain date a
method for integrating early childhood initiatives into the +initiatives;
requiring the commissioner of finance to report to the legislature by+ a certain
date the amount and purpose of the revenue and services potentially +withheld
