ARTICLE 1 - GENERAL
EDUCATION

Modifying and clarifying certain provisions relating to calculation
of income, levy recognition, retired employee health benefits and safe schools
levy

ARTICLE 2 - EDUCATION EXCELLENCE

Modifying and clarifying certain
provisions relating to gifted and talented students programs, statewide testing,
reporting, access to tests, student performance data, state eligibility, aid and
charter school authorizers, formation of school, replication of high performing
charter schools, audit reports, causes for nonrenewal or termination of charter
school contract and certain violations of law

ARTICLE 3 - SPECIAL
PROGRAMS

Modifying certain provisions relating to the definition of child
with a disability, use of reimbursements, informed consent, district disclosure
of information, programs and advisory committee duties; specifying certain
revisor's instructions; repealing the interagency office on transition
services

ARTICLE 4 - EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Modifying certain
provisions relating to charter schools early childhood health and developmental
screening, development screening program information and federal, state and
local requirements; defining early learning and care system; modifying school
readiness program requirements and eligibility criteria and the use of general
education revenue for school readiness programs
