Defining and regulating recreational gold prospecting; requiring recreational
gold prospectors to obtain written permission from landowners before entering
and prospecting on private property and from the appropriate state or local
government unit before prospecting on public property; requiring river bottom
and bed restoration; setting the season for recreational gold prospecting;
specifying certain prohibited activities; requiring a permit from the
commissioner of natural resources (DNR) for motorized recreational gold
prospecting with certain larger suction dredges, specifying certain permit
application and fee requirements, permits to be nontransferable (mk)
