ARTICLE 1 - PROTECTING
CHILDREN AND STRENGTHENING FAMILIES ACT

Creating the "Protecting Children and
Strengthening Families Act"; declaring state public policy objectives;
specifying priorities of act; defining certain terms; specifying use of certain
funds; assigning duties of the commissioner of human services in relation to the
act; requiring counties to submit implementation plans to receive funds;
authorizing commissioner to determine grant allocation for counties based on
implementation plans; specifying certain duties of each county board; specifying
revisor instructions

Setting custody and
adoption assistance payment rates; appropriating money for postadoption support
