Establishing the Minnesota new teacher project in the department of children,
families and learning to retain new and to provide models for supporting the
professional development of first and second year teachers; requiring school
boards and exclusive representatives of district teachers to agree for project
participation purposes; requiring participating school districts to submit a
plan to the commissioner for approval, specifying certain plan requirements;
providing district and state contributions toward the project; authorizing
independent school district 625, St. Paul and special school district 1,
Minneapolis to levy for a joint teacher professional development center(mk)
