programs from data practices requirement and classifying certain
data;
clarifying the requirement that the data communications network include
orders
for protection and no contract orders; expanding the definition of no
contact
orders; authorizing courts to include pets and companion animals in protective
orders; authorizing domestic abuse ex parte court orders for protection to
extend to areas surrounding a dwelling or residence; expanding the tampering
with a witness crime and modifying penalties; modifying the crime of stalking;
increasing the maximum bail for nonfelony domestic assault and domestic abuse
order for protection violations; authorizing a pilot project to allow judges to
order electronic monitoring for domestic abuse offenders on a pretrial basis;
recodifying and clarifying the domestic abuse no contact order law; repealing
the domestic abuse no contact order
