Relating to taxation; reducing the allocation of motor vehicle sales +tax
revenues to the metropolitan area and greater Minnesota transit +funds;
modifying the local levy option for the metropolitan area replacement+ transit
service program, requiring commissioner of revenue certification of +municipal
levy limits to the municipality and requiring deposit of the proceeds+ into a
separate replacement transit fund; modifying the metropolitan area +transit tax
and requiring a metropolitan council levy for paratransit services or+ ride
sharing programs serving persons within the transit area but outside +the
transit taxing district, requiring a certain local levy deduction; +eliminating
the requirement to use the population determined by the federal +census for city
local government aid base determination purposes and removing +taconite aids
from the computation of city formula aid; modifying the city aid +distribution
formula; increasing the standing appropriation for the payment of +city LGA;
delaying the restoration of reductions in market value homestead +credit
reimbursements; requiring a certain amount of money available to the +state
under the federal jobs and growth tax relief reconciliation act of + to be
