Relating to government data practices; providing for uniform treatment of
business data submitted to and collected by government entities; classifying
certain business data upon request for financial assistance or a benefit
financed by public funds and upon receipt of the financial assistance or
benefit, in response to requests for bids from submission to selection, as
license applicants and as licensees and upon inspection, regulation or
investigation; authorizing access to private or nonpublic data upon licensing
agency determination of a clear and present danger to public health or safety;
requiring responsible authorities of state agencies to prepare a list
identifying business data classification provisions within the jurisdiction of
the agency for submission to the revisor of statutes by a certain date for
preparation of conforming legislation; repealing certain provisions classifying
certain St. Paul port authority, housing and redevelopment authority (HRA) and
economic assistance, Red Wing port authority, cities economic development
assistance, Two Harbors development commission, Moorhead economic development
authority, iron range resources and rehabilitation board (IRRRB). trade and
