Relating to consumer protection; requiring consumer credit reporting agencies to
provide victims of identify theft with a statement describing the statutory
rights of identity theft victims and upon receipt of a police or investigative
report relating to the crime with free copies of credit reports pertaining to
the victim, specifying a maximum number of free reports allowed to be requested
per year; exempting agencies acting exclusively as resellers of credit
information from the requirements
