Modifying certain provisions under the clean indoor air act; removing the
exclusion of private enclosed offices from the definition of public place and
generally prohibiting smoking in public places, retaining the exception for
private social functions, bars and designated smoking areas of restaurants and
removing the exception for factories, warehouses and similar workplaces;
prohibiting smoking within a reasonable distance of an entrance to a public
place; clarifying the prohibition on smoking in day care settings; removing the
provision allowing the designation of one side of a single room as a smoking
area; clarifying the definition of public school for tobacco products
