ARTICLE 1 - HIGHER EDUCATION
APPROPRIATIONS

Appropriating money to office of higher education, for state
grants, safety officers survivors, interstate tuition reciprocity, state work
study, child care grants, Indian scholarships, Minitex, MnLINK gateway, learning
network of Minnesota, Minnesota college savings plan, midwest higher education
compact, intervention for college attendance program grants, achieve scholarship
program, outreach student and parent information, united family medicine
residency program, the campus compact, Minnesota minority education partnership
and administration, to Minnesota state colleges and universities (MnSCU) board
of trustees, to University of Minnesota board of regents for primary care
education initiatives, agriculture and extension service, health sciences,
institute of technology, and system specials, University of Minnesota and Mayo
foundation partnership, and academic health center, to Mayo clinic for medical
school and family practice and graduate residency program, providing for
transfers

ARTICLE 2 - OTHER HIGHER EDUCATION PROVISIONS

Requiring office
of higher education to report to the legislature on the implementation of
textbook information requirements under federal regulations; modifying resident
status and authorizing appeal; providing an award for achieve scholarship
program students completing on-line courses while in high school or home
school
