Authorizing students to possess and use nonsyringe injectors of +epinephrine
under certain conditions, requiring annual written authorization from+ the
parent for the student to self administer the medication; requiring +school
nurse assessment of the knowledge and skills of the student to safely+ possess
and use the injector in a school setting and to enter into the health+ record of
the student a plan to implement safe possession and use of the +injectors;
requiring the parents or guardians of students in schools without a +school
nurse or nursing services to submit written verification from the +prescribing
professional documenting completion of an assessment of knowledge and+ skills of
the student (ra)
