Establishing technology for improving learning grants to help schools implement
research proven technology based instructional programs in reading, writing and
math to create student success on the Minnesota comprehensive assessments in
grade five, specifying grant eligibility and priority requirements and requiring
and providing for application to the commissioner of children, families and
learning for the grants; specifying a match requirement; requiring grant
recipients to develop and implement a technology for improving learning plan,
specifying certain plan content and student computer portfolio maintenance
requirements; requiring use of grant proceeds to purchase certain equipment and
software; requiring the commissioner to evaluate the program on an ongoing basis
