E Modifying and simplifying certain procedures for filing documents + with the
secretary of state; eliminating the requirement for employment agency+ license
applicants, invention developers, plumbers, pipefitters and park superintendents
to file surety bonds with the secretary of state; +modifying the procedure for
the filing of corporate and limited liability company +(LLC) registrations,
requiring secretary of state notice to corporations +relating to the annual
registration requirement; eliminating the time limit on reinstatement of
cooperatives; modifying registration filing +requirements of nonprofit
corporations and limited liability companies, secretary of +state annual
registration notice requirement; eliminating the requirement +for county
auditors to file copies of auctioneer licenses with the secretary of +state;
imposing a separate fee under the uniform commercial code (UCC) for +the
electronic filing of financing statements or other records; +eliminating the
requirement for city clerks or county recorders to certify the +results of
liquor referenda to the secretary; transferring certain duties +relating to
notaries public from the commissioner of commerce to the secretary of+ state,
instructing the department of finance to include the costs of +assuming and
operating the notary functions in the base budget of the office of +the
secretary (ra, ja)
