ARTICLE 1 - CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE
PROGRAMS

"Child Care Affordability Act"; modifying certain provisions
relating to the use of federal funds for child care services; modifying
provisions relating to continued participation in child care programs after a
family moves, county child care fund plan approval, certain eligibility
requirements and subsidy restrictions for child care assistance; directing the
commissioner of management and budget to include the state obligation from the
basic sliding fee child care assistance program in the February and November
forecasts; appropriating money to the commissioner of human services for child
care resource and referral programs, child care services grants, migrant child
care, child care improvement grants, child care integrity, and voluntary quality
rating system training, coaching, consultation and supports; repealing
provisions related to child care financial eligibility, the basic sliding fee
program
