"Pride in Public Art Act of 2001"; requiring the capitol area architectural and
planning board and the director of the Minnesota historical society in
consultation with the state minority councils to jointly appoint a temporary
task force to study paintings other than gubernatorial portraits hung in public
areas of the state capitol, requiring the first priority for the study to be the
paintings in the reception rooms of the governor; specifying certain task force
membership representation requirements; requiring the task force to evaluate the
historical accuracy of the paintings and the appropriateness of the depiction of
people and events in a broader historical context and report recommendations to
the CAAPB, the historical society and the legislature by a certain date (je)
