Requiring the state court administrator to make a grant to a mediation center
for dispute resolution affiliated with a law school for the purpose of
conducting a study to survey and assess the current use of alternative dispute
resolution in the state compared to other states and to make recommendations for
the development and implementation of a plan to advance the appropriate use of
alternative dispute resolutions in courts, schools, neighborhoods, businesses,
state and local government agencies, health care settings, criminal and juvenile
justice systems and other areas of society; specifying certain working group
consultation and membership requirements; requiring report to the legislature by
a certain date; appropriating money to the supreme court for the study
