2E Modifying the frequency of publishing certain statistical data relating to
human trafficking in Minnesota; authorizing a victim of trafficking to bring
action against a person violating labor trafficking provisions and engaging in
the solicitation, inducement and promotion of prostitution; requiring the
posting of notices relating to human trafficking at certain establishments;
defining and modifying the definitions of certain terms; modifying certain
penalties for the solicitation, inducement and promotion of prostitution;
modifying criminal penalties for certain sex trafficking offenses in the first
and second degree; expanding the crime of prostitution in a public place,
clarifying prostitution penalty enhancement provisions for repeat offenders,
classifying as public data driving records of repeat prostitution offenders and
ensuring first time offender data law enforcement accessibility; including
solicitation, inducement, promotion of prostitution and sex trafficking in the
firearms law definition of the crime of violence for felony convictions offenses
and the victims rights laws definition of violent crime; repealing labor or sex
trafficking civil liability
