E Making deficiency appropriations to the commissioner of children, families and
learning for costs associated with educational litigation, to the commissioner
of human services for anticipated medical costs of the MinnesotaCare program, to
the zoological board for zoo operations, to the commissioner of economic
security for vocational rehabilitation and independent living services to blind
persons, to the campaign finance and public disclosure board for certain court
ordered payments and to the commissioner of public safety for additional costs
for executive protection and for the production of motor vehicle license plates;
requiring the commissioners of finance and economic security to review the
operation of the state services for the blind to determine the cause of the
deficiency and the steps to be taken to prevent future deficiencies and report
to the legislature by a certain date; requiring the commissioner of
administration to transfer a certain amount of money to the secretary of state
to modify business systems to address the year computer problem, specifying
certain duties of the secretary of state (ra, ja)
