3E Regulating unclaimed property held by cooperatives; eliminating the
requirement to file certain information with the department of commerce upon
election to distribute unclaimed property; requiring notice to property owners
before extinguishment of the rights of the owner to property held for more than
a certain number of years; authorizing the commissioner of commerce to decide
the manner and frequency of public notice of abandoned property, specifying a
minimum expenditure requirement; modifying the period of limitation; providing
for the transfer of abandoned tangible personal property, specifying certain
notice requirements; repealing certain abandoned property lists published and
mailed notice requirements
