Reducing the assigned student responsibility for higher education student grant
in aid determination purposes; providing eligibility for higher education child
care grants to recipients of aid to families with dependent children (AFDC) or
Minnesota family investment program-statewide (MFIP-S) assistance, redefining
eligible post-secondary institution and increasing the maximum award amount;
encouraging campuses participating in the state work study program to place
students in the college corps portion of the program to provide seventh and
eighth grade students with information relating to preparation for
post-secondary education opportunities, specifying certain duties of the higher
education services office (HESO) (ra)
