Modifying data practices provisions in the department of labor and industry;
modifying rehabilitative data collection and maintenance requirements;
eliminating the requirement for the hearings of the workers compensation
division to be open to the public; defining certain terms for department data
use purposes; modifying certain disclosure prohibitions; classifying certain
workers compensation data, providing a general standard for workers compensation
data, defining certain terms, classifying certain employment and insurance data
as public, providing for certain file and investigative and enforcement data;
classifying dispute resolution and investigative and enforcement data and
certain other department data as public; eliminating the requirement for all the
proceedings of the workers compensation court of appeals to be public; modifying
certain medical data access requirements; modifying certain data sharing
requirements for the departments of labor and industry, employment and economic
development (DEED), human services, agriculture, transportation (DOT) and
revenue; modifying certain requirements for release and use of records from
other state agencies; modifying requirements for use of reports of death or
injury and physician investigative reports; repealing certain provisions
relating to duties of employees to make reports and preservation of records,
public inspection of reports of death or injury, public hearings and appeals to
workers compensation court of appeals record of proceedings
