1E Relating to licensed traditional midwives; changing the regulatory agency for
licensed midwives from the board of medical practice to the commissioner of
health; modifying and making conforming amendments to certain licensed
traditional midwife statutory provisions relating to definitions, practice
standards, informed consent form contents and filing requirements, limitations
of practice, reports, disciplinary actions, licensure, and continuing education
programs; authorizing the commissioner of health to impose disciplinary actions
and specifying prohibited conduct and disciplinary actions; modifying membership
and duties of the advisory council on licensed traditional midwifery; increasing
certain licensure fees; providing for transfer of certain funds; repealing
certain provisions relating to licensure by equivalency during transition period
and discipline reports
